Thériault sweeps competition at finalsCOBALT - The École secondaire catholique Thériault Flammes travelled to Cobalt on Oct. 23 to compete in the Northeastern Ontario Athletics Association Cross-Country Championships where swept all six teams in the competition. Thirty-nine runners from Thériault participated in the competition. “The coaching staff is extremely pleased with the results,” said Flammes head coach Joel Ruel. “We challenged our runners to run faster than they did at the TDSS Invitational on October 4 and they responded very well. The midget boys’ team is a prime example of that determination. The four scorers improved their times by an average of 59 seconds over the 5.2 km course in a period of two an a half weeks. They were pumped for the race and are now looking forward to racing at OFSAA on Nov. 3 as are the rest of our qualifiers.” Read the full article at: www.timminspress.com
