Renfrew County high school athletes were at their best during regional cross-country championships held recently in Kemptville.

In the Eastern Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association (EOSSAA) cross-country championships at St. Michael’s Catholic High School, John Pettigrew of Renfrew Collegiate Institute continued to dominate, winning the men’s junior cross- country race with a time of 19:58. Pettigrew had previously taken the county’s junior title.
