OFSAA XC goes to Hornets Nest

The organizing committee of the 2011 OFSAA cross-country running championships has chosen the Hornets Nest in Blackburn Hamlet as host site for next fall’s provincial event.

There was considerable debate amongst coaches about where the NCSSAA should hold the 2,000-participant competition, with some favouring the Hornets Nest and others – such as Glebe’s Kirk Dillabaugh – supporting Kanata’s Walter Baker Park.
