Westdale races to provincial cross-country medals

Westdale Warriors runner Phoebe Cseresnyes was the top local individual finisher at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations cross-country championships. The meet was held at Etobicoke’s Centennial Park.

Cseresnyes won bronze in the junior girls’ 3800-metre event. Her time of 14 minutes, 54 seconds was 42 seconds behind the winner, Hilary Stafford of London’s St. Thomas Aquinas.
