Heartwell fifth at OFSAA


Clarkson Secondary's Joey Heartwell was the top Mississauga finisher at Saturday's provincial high school cross country meet in Etobicoke. Running in the Jr. Boys' 6,000 metre run, Heartwell was the fifth runner to cross the line with a time of 19 minutes, 58.66 seconds at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) meet.
He was eight seconds shy of a medal. Loyola's Preston Borg placed 17th (20:34.86) while Jeramie Lai of St. Marcellinus was 39th across the line (21:21.94).
